Purvatana pose

In receiving , we give. In giving, we receive.

The word Purvatana implies opening and stretching the front of the body. Purvatana postures are all about back arches working on strengthening the neck, upper back, and lower back. In this series, Kamala Chirravuri will help us experience and understand how Purvatana postures act at the level of the Annamaya (body), Pranamaya (breath), and Manomaya (mind) through Asana, Pranayama, and Dharana practices.

Dates: 6, 13, 20, and 27 February 2024 (Tuesdays)

Time: 4 – 5.30 pm IST
