Refresher Retreats for Yoga Teachers and Therapists

Despite the best of our intentions, sometimes we lose touch with teaching, our personal practice, and from learning itself. Often, we feel it as a gaping hole — something we can’t quite put our finger on, but we know for sure that something is missing from our experience of life.

We have often heard from you, our alumni, about your desire to come back to the teachings, so as to reinvigorate your own learning and journey on the path of yoga.

It is in response to this strong demand from you that we have lovingly put together this retreat program. The 3-day long in-person workshop is coming up at the end of August in Bengaluru. We look forward to meeting you once again. Please find the full details of the program and the registration link below.

Viniyoga and Vinyasa Krama: Principles and Processes for Personalising Yoga Practice

One of the core principles in the tradition of Sri T Krishnamacharya and Sri TKV Desikachar is application of all aspects of yoga practice to what is appropriate for the individual, based on where one is (Viniyoga) and how this is done through intelligent steps (Vinyasa Krama).  This retreat will focus on exploring these key approaches in Asana and Pranayama along with other tools to design and teach practices that can make one’s journey of yoga interesting, deeply engaging and transformative!

Please register for the retreat here.

What will you learn?

  • Review of basic principles of modification and course planning
  • Observation and modification of asanas to serve specific functions
  • Designing practices for the individual based on observation
