“A man can live in his body for as long as he wishes, not just 100 years. But for that, Prana Vayu suddhi is essential – which means to keep the Prana under one’s control.
Even those diseases that cannot be cured by medicines, can be cured by practising Yogasana and Pranayama.
It is important to learn that through the practice of Asana and Pranayama, we keep our body, mind, Prana, Indriyas and Atma in a proper state. This is Yoga.”
— Sri. T. Krishnamacharya
Over the course of this workshop, we’ll reflect on Sri Krishnamacharya’s words and learn to understand and use the breath in various contexts for our own practice and for therapy (pain relief, stress management, and others).
The workshop will reflect and explore sensitive details and forms of focused practice according to the requirement and to enhance the quality of breath for the betterment of the individual.
We eventually focus our effort in using the breath as a means to prepare for and practise stilling the mind for meditation.
