Our work is based on a paradigm that balances scientific rigour with a traditional approach.

We welcome you to join us on this journey of self-discovery and transformation through yoga.

  Yoga : a definition
Yoga is a method, a way of life, that brings together all the dimensions of your being – body, breath, intellect, personality and emotions – so as to achieve a wholeness and harmony.

This blue print created through the experiential wisdom of the ancient masters thousands of years ago is as relevant today as ever. Yoga provides a repertoire of tools and techniques that includes postures, breathing and meditation.

In addition, it also addresses social and personal attitudes of a practitioner in order to achieve a state of mind that is stable, balanced, clear and focused.

The primary instrument is the mind – when it is refined, perceptions, attitudes and actions get refined. As a result, one’s life experience is of enduring peace, joy and gratitude.

  Invocation to Patanjali
In this ancient Sanskrit prayer, Patanjali is venerated for his three invaluable contributions for the benefit of mankind: “Yoga for the Mind, Grammar for Speech & Science of Healing for the Body…”

Patanjali did not invent yoga. He melded together the various streams of yogic wisdom into a simple text of just 195 aphorisms. Herein is the distilled essence of yoga. The entire edifice of yoga as it stands today and all the texts that  came later drew their inspiration from this single text and its multi-layered wisdom.
